Calling all young artists and future financial leaders! The Community Bankers of Iowa (CBI) is excited to host the 2025 CBI Poster Contest in celebration of Money Smart Week. This year’s theme, “Why is it important to know about money?”, encourages Iowa students to think about financial responsibility in a fun and creative way.
Who Can Enter?
The contest is open to all Iowa students in grades 2–6.
What Can You Win?
We are awarding creativity and financial awareness with cash prizes:
- Three winners will receive $200 each
- Six winners will receive $100 each
- Six winners will receive $50 each
How to Enter:
- Create Your Poster – Design an original poster that illustrates why it is important to understand money.
- One Entry Per Student – Submit your best work.
- Include an Entry Label – Fill out the official entry label and attach it to the back of your poster. Entries without a label will not be accepted. If a printed label is unavailable, the required information may be written directly on the back of the poster.
- Submit Your Artwork – Drop off your poster at a participating community bank by Friday, April 18, 2025.
- Watch for Results – Winners will be announced on Friday, May 2, 2025.
