Honoring Iowa’s Community Banking Champions

Each year, the Community Bankers of Iowa presents the Robert D. Dixon Founders Award to an outstanding community banker who exemplifies a lifelong commitment to independent community banking in Iowa.

This award recognizes leaders who demonstrate:

  • A deep dedication to community banking and local outreach
  • Active involvement with the Community Bankers of Iowa (CBI) and the Independent Community Bankers of America
  • Proven leadership within the banking industry and broader community

We invite you to nominate a deserving individual who has made a lasting impact on Iowa’s community banking landscape.

Award Presentation

The award will be presented during CBI’s 54th Annual Convention, July 16–18, 2025, in Arnolds Park, Iowa.
