Endorsed Member Services

Becoming an Endorsed Member of Community Bankers of Iowa is the most involved relationship between the association and a partner organization. Composed of formal business relationships encompassing a particular product or service to be offered to CBI members, it represents the highest level of involvement. Partners desiring to be endorsed must become an affiliate member of CBI and may then request consideration for endorsement.

Companies endorsed by CBI will receive the following forms of marketing support and promotion:
  • Opportunity to jointly structure a 12-month introductory marketing and advertising campaign promoting your company and products to CBI members with an announcement letter or high-impact email sent to all members.

  • Placement of one or more of your articles in Community Banker Update quarterly magazine.​

  • Automatic registration as a speaker for CBI Speakers’ Bureau.

  • Current CBI membership list with primary contact information.

  • Email promotion of a webinar for delivery by you.

Plus the following opportunities:
  • Be a topic discussed with banks contacted in person, by a CBI representative, as part of the CBI contact outreach / prospecting program.

  • Design a targeted letter from CBI focused on specific targeted banks.

  • Submit additional newsworthy, educational (non-sales) articles for placement in our bi-monthly newsletter.

  • Attend and participate in our annual convention each July. Except for board meetings, all sessions and events are open to you.

  • Join the 100 + bankers who play in the September CBI Golf Classic.

  • Register and attend CBI education seminars at discounted member rates.

  • Participate in an annual meeting with CBI to design and execute an effective annual marketing strategy.

  • Create and jointly introduce new marketing programs with CBI.

Correspondent Member Services

As a Correspondent Member of Community Bankers of Iowa you have a tremendous opportunity to present yourself and your correspondent services to our member banks in a variety of ways.

  • You can attend and participate in our annual convention in July of each year. Except for board meetings, all sessions and events are open to you.

  • Sponsorship opportunities are available at the annual Convention, the CBI Golf Classic, and the Leaders of Tomorrow Leadership Development Conference.

  • Join the 100 + bankers who play in the September CBI Golf Classic.

  • You can submit a seminar or non-sales presentation topic and presenter for CBI events and/or publications.

  • You receive a list of current member banks at the beginning of each year and can present yourself to them as a Correspondent Member.

  • You can submit newsworthy, educational (non-sales) articles to our quarterly newsletter Community Banker Update​ and receive recognition and attribution for them.

  • You can attend CBI educational seminars at the discounted member bank rate.

Partner Member Services

As an Affiliate Member of Community Bankers of Iowa you have a tremendous opportunity to present yourself and your organization to our member banks in a variety of ways.

There are a variety of opportunities CBI offers for involvement and contact with our member banks:

  • Take advantage of sponsorship opportunities available at the annual convention, the CBI Golf Classic, and the Leaders of Tomorrow Leadership Development Conference.

  • Join the 100 + bankers who play in the September CBI Golf Classic.

  • Submit a seminar or non-sales presentation topic and presenter for CBI events and/or publications.

  • Receive a list of current member banks at the beginning of each year and can present yourself to them as an Affiliate Member.

  • Submit newsworthy, educational (non-sales) articles to our quarterly newsletter Community Banker Update and receive recognition and attribution for them.

  • Submit your product or service for consideration for CBI endorsement through Community Bankers Services and Insurance (CBSI).
